Nathaniel De Zago - Writer
I've been a science fiction fan for the majority of my life. Star Wars was the coolest thing out there, and as I got older, science fiction never did. Writing came secondary as so many of us never cared for it. In high school, one of my teachers enjoyed writing short stories and reading them after the day's last class.
It was during this time that I began to write my own. Everything was robots, aliens, and war. I started writing Cries of Battle in 2002, and it took on a life of its own. Space opera, something that I didn't even hear defined for nearly a decade, during which I wrote five books in the same galaxy and served almost six years in the Infantry with three combat deployments before 2012.
While getting my associate's in Creative Writing, I began a complete rewrite of book one. This was to provide a fresh start to book one and reimagine it. In the middle of my book one edit, I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's in Professional Writing. My writing has transcended merely a hobby, and while I encourage everybody to buy and read, I want to bring each reader into the war and journey that I have imagined in this new galaxy and universe of words.
As of February 19th, 2022, my publishing contract has expired with the first edition. Book one is in its second edition, and book two is in its first edition. I have the printing capability to prepare a hardcover edition, though it is handmade rather than through a press. On the next tab are links for a PDF if a digital copy is preferred.
