Black-Hole bomb
Black Hole Bomb: The Black Hole Bomb (BHB) is a hypothetical device that could potentially be used as a weapon. The BHB is designed to detonate into a miniature black hole with a diameter of approximately ten meters, which would exist for a duration of three to ten seconds before collapsing in on itself.
The BHB works by using a primary explosive charge to create a high-density field, which compresses matter and creates a singularity – an infinitely dense point in space-time – at its center. This singularity generates an event horizon, beyond which nothing can escape, including light.
To prevent the black hole from consuming the device itself and its immediate surroundings, a secondary explosive charge is included within the BHB. This charge is located in a pocket space adjacent to the black hole and remains unaffected by its singularity. Upon detonation of this secondary charge, the resulting shockwave disrupts the singularity and causes it to collapse.
Although the Black Hole Bomb remains purely theoretical, some physicists have suggested that it could be used as a highly destructive weapon. However, the feasibility and practicality of such a device remain uncertain, and there are many technical challenges that would need to be overcome before it could be developed.
Bio-lift
A bio-lift is a mechanical suit that aids a cargo worker in the space docks. It is equal to a ten person lift and removes the physical strain a worker would endure in a joint lift of a heavy object.
City Defenders
Trained almost equally to the Phalanx, Defenders are specific to the city they are stationed in. Trained in urban fighting specific to their location, Defenders do not deploy. Weapons and armor are equal to a Phalanx Knight.
Glaze bomb
Weapon launched from a Aerion Strefer on attack runs
Laserifle
Equipped weapon of the Knight, City Defender, and Palace Guardian.
Laseshot
The Laseshot is a type of ammunition used in laserifles and lasepistols. It is designed to melt upon contact with flesh and is programmed using nano-technology. The laseshot maintains a sharp piercing edge until penetration, allowing it to bypass armor or other defenses. Once it enters the body, the laseshot's nano-programming allows it to sense biological materials and melt into the bloodstream of the target. The Laseshot is a highly lethal munition capable of causing severe damage to organic targets. Its use is associated with the Aerion Phalanx and other human defense organizations.
Pariah
Metal used to create ship hulls and Phalanx armor. Mined in every system known to the Aerion kingdom, Pariah is a valuable commodity for nearly everything. While found on most worlds, the largest mine is established in the Paeo system in a planetary ring. The use of Guiders are frequent to bring the mineral to the processing plants for refinement.
Phalanx Knight
Standard name for the Aerion soldier. Equipped with sectional pariah armor, they wear open faced helmets, chest plate, shoulder guards, greaves, thigh armor and shin armor tied into their boots. Their weapons consist of a laserifle, lasepistol and a saber. All are trained for at least six Aerion standard months or longer depending on their preferred training within the Phalanx.
Phalanx Star Knights
Standard combat load as a Phalanx Knight. Trained specifically to board and take control of ships. Laseshots are programmed for minimum penetration to lower the risk of breaking through the hull of a ship.
Saesh
Unfiltered water from the planet of Sashe. Discovered to contain healing properties capable of bringing even the most grievously ill or injured away from death. There is no known lethal dose of saesh.
Sintre Rocket
Warhead fired from human capital ships. Programmed with nano-technologies, an EMP burst is issued on impact against enemy shields. At the same time, a signal is sent to prevent the warhead from exploding immediately in the event of a breach through the enemy's shielding.
Swarmfire Missile
The swarmfire missile is found primarily on human warships in response to the Viol swarms. Book Two
TAC-T
A three meter long holographic display table on the bridge of battleships and cruisers, the TAC-T showed the tactical situation both in space and if a ground force was on a planet, the tactical situation is displayed.
Ulmer
A strong amber fermented drink imported from Urrizen. A favorite drink of Jake Murose and stocked specifically for him by Sierra in her palace quarters.
Vim
A red fermented liquid that is mixed with saesh and the crixu berry. Traditionally made on Sashe, Vim is usually used to treat mild aches or pains, to include headaches.
